HISTORY
If someone had told me a few years ago that I would create my own jewelry house thousands of miles from home, I probably wouldn't have believed them. And yet, here I am.
It all started with a need to move, to see something different, to prove to myself that I could do it. In 2025, I packed my bags for Montreal. Leaving my family, my friends, and my little habits was terrifying. I was leaving without a safety net, far from everything I knew.
But it was precisely in that moment of vulnerability that the idea of Maison Soleyah was born. When you start from scratch, you ask yourself what really matters. For me, it was creation.
I'm going to be 100% honest with you: when I started this project, I had no idea where I was going. Entrepreneurship? A complex word for a reality made of many questions and a few sleepless nights.
I didn't know how to build a website (thank you tutorials and perseverance), and my technical skills in jewelry were limited to the friendship bracelets and bead weaving I used to do years ago.
But I had this visceral desire to build something solid. So I learned. I searched for the best materials, I tested dozens of samples, I assembled, disassembled, started over. The pride I felt when I finally succeeded in making a piece is the same high standard that guides every decision at the Maison today. I don't just want to sell you a piece of jewelry; I want to offer you that dose of confidence that I had to find deep within myself to launch this brand.
For me, the sun is vital energy. It's the first thing I look for when I open my eyes in the morning. Without light, nothing begins.
It's this warmth and glow that I want to put into every package I prepare. I want you to feel that little "boost" of joy when you open your Maison Soleyah box, that feeling that a beautiful day is beginning. We all need that little light signal on us, especially on days when our spirits are a bit low.
Life is too short to wait
If there's one thing this adventure has taught me, it's that life is short. Too short to have regrets or remorse.
Maison Soleyah is my heartfelt plea to you: Dare.
Embark on that project that's been on your mind, change your mind if it no longer suits you, start over if necessary, persevere when it's tough, but above all, do what makes you deeply happy. We are not here to follow a predetermined path; we are here to build our own.
If you have chosen to be here, it is not by chance.
Perhaps you too feel it's time to forge your own path.
Maison Soleyah, it's for you, for every day, and forever.
Welcome to the House.
