On October 15, 2025, Maison Soleyah was born in Montreal. One year later, the Journal opens its first Issue. A few words to mark the threshold.
The first day
A year ago, the Maison consisted of a few pieces, a material, and a conviction. Stainless steel, first of all: solid, faithful, unalterable. The sun, then, as a principle rather than an ornament.
I already knew what I did not want. Neither the passing trend, nor the fragile piece of jewelry tucked away for fear of damaging it. I wanted pieces that accompany life.
Building codes
This year was one of foundations. The marine link established itself as the structure, always reinterpreted in my own way. Charms became a language, to compose a piece of jewelry that looks like you.
Some pieces are new, like the Éléanore bracelet and its twelve birth pearls. Others have completed their journey. Building a Maison also means knowing how to choose what to keep.
I build slowly, but solidly.
What this year has taught me
That a Maison is built in layers, with patience. That every detail counts: a photo, a case, a note tucked into an order. And that consistency is worth more than a fleeting spark.
I also learned to listen to you. Your questions about gold or silver, about care, about the right chain length have nourished this Journal.
What comes next
The Journal is born today, with one Issue per month and four appointments every Friday. It will be our space of slowness: the materials, the stones, the gestures.
And in 2027, the first semi-precious stones will join the steel, without ever erasing its identity. The light continues.
Thank you for being here since the first day, or since today.
