Preserving the shine. Enhancing the material. Making beauty last.
At Maison Soleyah, each piece of jewelry is designed to elegantly accompany your daily life.
To permanently preserve their brilliance, I share with you the essential steps: simple and precise.
Understanding the materials of your jewelry
304 and 316 stainless steel is at the heart of my creations. Recognized for its exceptional resistance and hypoallergenic nature, it does not rust or tarnish. Combined with an 18K Gold plating (PVD technique), it offers a refined shine and superior durability compared to classic platings.
Some pieces are enhanced by:
-
Colored enamel, chosen for its stable brilliance.
-
White nephrite, a stone that captures light.
-
Resin (SOLA Collection), UV and water resistant.
Wearing your jewelry: actions that extend beauty
Jewelry is designed to follow you everywhere, but a discreet routine maximizes its longevity:
-
Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions or hair products.
-
Remove your jewelry during physical activities or actions likely to cause shocks.
-
After each day, lightly wipe your pieces with a soft cloth to remove natural skin traces.
Water resistance: what you need to know
Stainless steel is perfectly water resistant. However, to preserve the intensity of the gold plating and the enamel finish:
-
After swimming (sea, pool, spa): It is essential to rinse your jewelry with clear water to remove salt or chlorine.
-
Systematic drying: Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Allowing to air dry naturally accelerates the wear of the plating.
Cleaning your pieces: Maison Soleyah gentle method
A delicate cleaning is enough to restore all the light to your jewelry.
-
Regular maintenance: A dry microfiber cloth.
-
Gentle cleaning (if necessary): Lukewarm water and a mild soap (Marseille soap type). Rub gently, rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
-
Absolutely avoid: Abrasive products (toothpaste, baking soda on glued/resin parts), bleach and hard brushes.
Storing your jewelry: protecting its delicacy
A well-stored piece of jewelry is a long-lasting piece of jewelry.
-
Store your pieces in their individual Maison Soleyah pouch, away from humidity.
-
Avoid bulk storage: steel rubbing against steel can cause micro-scratches.
Special cases: Resin, Stones and Delicate Chains
-
Resin & Enamel: Avoid direct impacts and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
-
Delicate Chains: Chains are delicate by aesthetic choice. The connecting rings are not intentionally soldered: in case of excessive pulling, the chain detaches instead of breaking, allowing for a simple repair without altering the jewelry.
A word from the House
A Maison Soleyah jewel is not just an accessory: it is a piece designed to transcend seasons.
Natural wear and tear or micro-scratches related to your busy life are part of its history.
Maintenance is not a constraint; it is a way to prolong the bond that unites you with your jewelry.
